Our Love
Forlorn the solitary flower grows
Amid a garden of weeds
A fragile beauty strives
To transcend its surrounds.
Gracious moonlight spills
Washing the weary soul
Of the lover in chains
Destitute without love.
A shadow, a shade
Grows in substance
Brilliant light ascend
And recreate the universe.
Happiness and life so simple
The complexity reduced to a sin.
Amid a garden of weeds
A fragile beauty strives
To transcend its surrounds.
Gracious moonlight spills
Washing the weary soul
Of the lover in chains
Destitute without love.
A shadow, a shade
Grows in substance
Brilliant light ascend
And recreate the universe.
Happiness and life so simple
The complexity reduced to a sin.
